UNDP Serbia regional conference

We are proud to have participated in the UNDP Serbia regional conference: 10 years after the floods!
BEOEXPERT Design BIM Engineering had the honor to be part of an important meeting that dealt with the topics of climate change resistance, flood risk management and the promotion of sustainable development in the water sector in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, 10 years after the catastrophic floods.
The conference brought together experts, decision-makers and representatives of civil society organizations, providing a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas.
At the Conference, a study was presented that showed how much damage from floods has been reduced in the last 10 years and how much the protection system against the harmful effects of water has been improved through prevention, preparedness and response in emergency situations, as well as the process of reconstruction and recovery after them.
The conclusion is that investments in the development of innovations and technologies to reduce risk and prevent future disasters, as well as cooperation between sectors, are key in order to improve the resilience of communities.
We believe that by working together we can create a safer and more resilient society. Thanks to UNDP and all the participants for the inspiring conversations and constructive suggestions.
